ICON Greece organised a study visit for its Board Members and trainers on post secondary vocational and technical education. The study visit was implemented in Spain and it included theoretical and practical sessions.
The visit focused on both youth and adult education in connection with Early School Leaving . Spain has a higher percentage of students attending Vocational Education compared to Greece. Intermediate vocational training (professional branch) is provided in vocational training integrated institutions and in national reference institutions.
The study visit was very useful because it gave us insights on how VET can combat school failure and offer new career prospects to all.
