{"id":421,"date":"2013-01-02T15:10:00","date_gmt":"2013-01-02T15:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icongreece.gr\/?p=421"},"modified":"2023-12-26T10:19:00","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T10:19:00","slug":"421","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icongreece.gr\/?p=421","title":{"rendered":"Inclusive education is a human right"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The right to access a quality inclusive education is encompassed in Article 24 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>General comment No. 4 of the UNCRPD refers to inclusive education as:<br>a) A fundamental human right of all learners. Notably,\u00a0<br>education is the right of the individual learner, and not, in the case of children, the right of a parent or caregiver.
