As a proud partner of the Erasmus+ project WISE-AI (Fostering young
women’s employability by promoting Sustainable Development Goals through Artificial Intelligence, ICON Greece is proud to announce the launch of the official WISE-AI Knowledge Portal !!
This digital platform is much more than a repository. It is a living, collaborative space designed to empower young women aged 15–29 to engage with the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), enhance their employability, and become active contributors to a sustainable digital future.
📚 What the Portal Offers:
- Educational Modules on AI and the SDGs, aligned with real-world applications
- Interactive activities using Minecraft Education Edition
- The WISE-AI Community Hub, where girls and educators can share ideas, projects, and co-create
- Training resources, pedagogical material, and lesson plans for educators and youth workers
- Multilingual access to support learners across partner countries (Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, and Lithuania)
The Knowledge Portal was developed based on extensive research, including surveys and focus groups with over 200 young women, exploring the barriers they face in accessing AI education — from gender stereotypes and lack of role models to low confidence and limited access to digital tools.
Through gamification and open-access learning, the WISE-AI Portal becomes a tool to:
- Tackle the digital gender divide
- Inspire the next generation of female leaders in STEM
- Show how AI can serve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
ICON Greece invites schools, educators, NGOs, youth groups, and especially young women to explore the platform, integrate it into classrooms, and share it widely.

Στο πλαίσιο της ενεργής συμμετοχής μας στο έργο Erasmus+ WISE-AI: Ενίσχυση της απασχολησιμότητας των νέων γυναικών μέσω της προώθησης των Στόχων Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης με την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, η ICON Greece παρουσιάζει την επίσημη Πύλη Γνώσης WISE-AI !!
Η Πύλη δεν είναι απλώς μια βάση δεδομένων. Πρόκειται για έναν διαδραστικό, εκπαιδευτικό κόμβο, σχεδιασμένο να ενδυναμώσει νέες γυναίκες ηλικίας 15–29 ετών, να ενισχύσει την απασχολησιμότητά τους και να προωθήσει τη συμμετοχή τους σε έναν πιο βιώσιμο και ψηφιακό κόσμο.
📚 Τι προσφέρει η Πύλη:
- Εκπαιδευτικές ενότητες για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη και τους SDGs, με πρακτικό προσανατολισμό
- Δραστηριότητες μάθησης με παιχνίδι (gamification) μέσω Minecraft Education
- Χώρο κοινότητας (WISE-AI Community) για ανταλλαγή ιδεών, εμπειριών και συνεργασίας
- Υλικό για εκπαιδευτικούς και εμψυχωτές νέων: σχέδια μαθήματος, κουίζ, οδηγίες
- Πολύγλωσση πρόσβαση για όλους τους εμπλεκόμενους φορείς και χώρες (Ελλάδα, Κύπρος, Πορτογαλία, Ισπανία, Ολλανδία, Λιθουανία)
Η δημιουργία της Πύλης βασίστηκε σε εκτενή έρευνα: ερωτηματολόγια και ομάδες εστίασης με νέες γυναίκες, οι οποίες ανέδειξαν εμπόδια όπως τα έμφυλα στερεότυπα, η έλλειψη πρότυπων, η χαμηλή αυτοπεποίθηση και οι περιορισμένες ψηφιακές δεξιότητες.
Μέσα από το παιχνίδι και την ανοιχτή πρόσβαση, η Πύλη:
- Καταπολεμά το ψηφιακό χάσμα φύλου
- Εμπνέει τη νέα γενιά γυναικών στον τομέα STEM
- Δείχνει πώς η ΤΝ μπορεί να υπηρετήσει τους Στόχους Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης (SDGs)
Η ICON Greece προσκαλεί σχολεία, ΜΚΟ, εκπαιδευτικούς και νέες γυναίκες να χρησιμοποιήσουν την Πύλη, να την εντάξουν σε μαθήματα ή δράσεις και να τη διαδώσουν.
